🚫Unfucking Communication and Bringing Departments Together.

I've spent too many hours dealing with the clusterfuck that happens when engineering, marketing, and design teams work together under pressure. What I've learned is that humour, when used right, can cut through the nonsense and help people actually understand each other.

The thing is, engineers are all about precision and functionality, while marketers are obsessed with making things shiny and irresistible, designers want to be sure it's perfect, and everyone is pulling in their own direction. But if we can just find a way to unfuck communication, we might end up with something brilliant.

I like easing the tensions with jokes.

Laughter isn't about shits and giggles; it can bridge gaps between even the most stubborn departments. By poking fun at ourselves and our quirks, we can find common ground and create an atmosphere where people listen to each other for once.

My go-to jokes are usually self-deprecating. It's the safest route because I can not be offended, and people usually let their guard down and are more open to banter. A well-placed joke, even one poking fun at yourself, can dissolve tension, encourage open communication, and create a space where different perspectives can actually be heard.

Laughter is a language everyone understands, and it can bring even the most unlikely coworkers together. So... go ahead, don't be afraid to crack a joke, and watch the walls come crashing down.
