Here's a little horror story to lighten up your Saturday.

Once, I had a client that was in need of a web shop and also needed photography services for the products for the said website.

It was fairly small (around 15 products) and a simple project, and back then, I was trying to cover every possible service in-house, so I had a photographer I hired to the product images, and I built the site.

Once it was done, the client said that "he doesn't have money to pay until the sales start rolling in, and he estimates that the retail value of products I photographed are approximately the same as the project, so I can just keep them, and he'll call us even."

The products in question were around 20 lbs of various bath salts, bath bombs, and other feminine bathroom-related stuff that I had ZERO USE as a single man in my mid-twenties then.

So, I had to invoke the holy scripture of "Fuck You, Pay Me!" and go all business on him to make him pay the invoice, which he did after a month of back and forth...

But, yeah... bath salts payment... that's not a thing! 😅

👇 not a photo of an actual client, but close enough...
